Common questions
- Where do the translations come from? Curated comparison passages use named public-domain works (Telang 1882, Arnold 1885, Müller 1879/1884, Vivekananda 1896). The complete Gita baseline is from an MIT-licensed open-source scripture dataset. The in-app Sources & Editions screen lists every source. We never invent scripture.
- Is this a religious authority? No. Sanatan is an independent study and reference companion — a library and study desk. It gives no rulings and no personalised spiritual advice.
- Restoring a purchase. Settings → Restore Purchases re-checks your Apple ID for an active Sanatan Pro subscription.
- Managing or cancelling Pro. Open the Settings app → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Sanatan, where you can change or cancel anytime.
- Spotted an error in a verse or transliteration? Please email us the reference (e.g. “Gita 2.47”) and what looks wrong — accuracy matters to us.
